Smart privacy film
Glass that goes from clear to opaque when it is powered, for the partitions you want open by day and closed at night.
Smart film goes onto the glass the same way frosted film does, except that it switches. Powered, it is clear. Cut the power and it turns opaque. The same partition can be seen through during the day and closed off in the evening, with nothing to lower and nothing to pull.
It goes mostly on interior glass. Between a bedroom and a living area in a condo, around a glazed home office, or on an ensuite bathroom. It is also the answer where a blind has nowhere to go, because there is no clearance and no frame to fix one to.
Because it needs an electrical connection, we check what is feasible on site before anything else. We look at where the wire runs, how you want to switch it, wall switch or remote, and whether the glass you already have can take the film or has to be replaced.
